Short, single-sitting tintype portraits made in the studio by the water.
Take a quick day trip to Kingston from downtown Seattle ($15 total).
Just a short walk to the studio, just outside the ferry terminal.
Coffee, food, and Saltair Beach all within a minute.
Session Details
Each plate is poured, sensitized, and developed on-site, within the span of your session. Please try to arrive a few minutes early so we have enough time to meet, prepare, and create the image.
Afterward, your tintype will be washed, scanned and varnished, and mailed/picked up within a week of the session.

Singles, couples, small families welcome––max width for portraits is three shoulders wide. Children and pets are welcome, but must hold still (exposures are between 3 and 10 seconds).

Booking
A $60 non-refundable deposit reserves your session and applies toward the total. The remainder is due at your sitting––payment accepted by cash (tax-free), Venmo, or card.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, your session may be offered to another guest.
