Transfers  &  Transformations

These works begin as high-resolution scans of tintypes. Sometimes I print the image directly onto found paper or frame backing and house it in a reclaimed frame.

Other times, I transfer a paper print of the image onto wood, canvas, or glass using acrylic, gesso, or other binders. Part reproduction, part disappearance — each method alters what survives.
